Introduction Video to The Remnant Trust

This website is an extension of

The Remnant Trust itself…

…with links to resources, and information about our collection – access to some of the greatest minds in History. Looking at the menu at the top of the page, you can see where portions of our collection will be on display at universities, colleges and other institutes of higher learning on the “Hosting Institutions” page. On the “Video” page you will find a few videos that have been made about our collections, and if you want to correspond with our chief editor, Kris Bex or other patrons of the Remnant Trust, you can do so on our “Blog” page.

If you look at the menu in the side bar to the left of the page, you will find categories of descriptions and materials that pertain to that subject. For instance, if you click on “Economics“, you will likely find a listing of Aristotle’s Opera (printed in 1496) and the first 1759 printing of Adam Smith’s The Theory of Moral Sentiments. Although separated by 2 millennia, both works deal with economics among other subjects.

At the bottom of this page are the latest entries for several of the categories – the latest acquisitions, the latest news, the most compelling information…

It is our hope that this web site will help you not only understand the Remnant Trust a bit more, but also fuel the fire deep within everyone to learn more about ourselves by learning about the past – through some of history’s greatest minds.

“Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill.”      - Barbra W. Tuchman
